So,  just wanted to post our latest photos.
Logan has just started crawling and is so happy to be able to move around!  He just keeps getting more and more fun!

Kylee and Alyssa really love playing with him, although they are not that excited that now he can move around and get into their toys.  Maybe this will help them clean their room better!

Everything seems to be going good- just busy!  John is studying for some big tests- so he's been a little stressed.  I've been trying to keep the house clean for at least most of the week.  I feel like I clean my house every single day- and the next day it's an even bigger mess.  Oh well- life with little kids!

Kylee has been wanting to learn how to sew.  Since I don't really know how to sew myself, I bought a couple easy patterns and some cute fabric to motivate myself.  The only problem- I can't figure out what is wrong with my sewing machine. .  It's just not working right!  I don't know if it's something that can be fixed or if I just need a new sewing machine.  The one I have now was given to me and it's pretty old- but it was working fine several months ago (the last time I attempted to try and sew).  Maybe I'll leave it up to my mom to teach Kylee the sewing basics!

Since I design digital scrapbooks, I get a lot of people asking me if I do photography. Sadly- no- I'm a terrible picture-taker . . . which has been really bothering me lately. I mean I have these great books- but if the photos don't look good- what's the point. So, I've been reading up on taking better photos, and also- editing good photos to look even better. Here's a few different versions after messing around with the photos:

Business on a roll!

I had to post something about my business, because I just finished a great month.  I sold over $2000 worth of Heritage Makers books and I sponsored 1 other consultant into the business.  That means that I get part of a performance pool ($200-$300) on top of my commissions.  Super exciting!  And I'm a little closer to earning a trip to the Mexican Riviera with our company for next January.  John and I have been wanting to go to Mexico for a long time so this will be a great trip.

Now I just have to do the same things this month!

Happy New Year

So, I finally put away all things Christmas and our house is looking back to normal. It was kind of nice to stay home for Christmas and do a few of our own things- but I did miss my family's big Christmas Eve party- especially my Grandma's yummy chicken enchiladas and beans. I did manage to make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. AND I did get an awesome birthday/christmas present from "santa"- a brand new Macbook Pro. I'm going to use it with my video business and with my Heritage Makers business. It's so fun to use- but a little new since I've been a pc user for a long time.

Our little boy is such a good kid! He is so happy and has the cutest smile! Here are some recent pictures:

For Christmas the girls got the cutest aprons (and the sewing is awesome-- NOT by me) Tonight we made cookies and they showed them off.

Baby Laugh

So Logan laughed for the first time a few days ago and I have been trying ever since to get him to do it again- and today he did! A lot! I think he is finally ticklish around his neck and under his arms. So cute! John came home and had him laughing a little too.

So, I think John has found a job that fits his personality and skills.... with Penske. I am so proud of him that I just have to brag a little. He received a promotion 2-3 weeks ago, but he's still been going in early and doing part of his last position. Well- I guess before John took the leasing sales position- his district ranked 50th in terms of having new contacts sign a lease right away. Guess what- the last two weeks- they ranked NUMBER ONE! And one of John's big bosses- the Vice President over the southwest area came to Vegas and spent the day with John. He had John get on a special conference call for people that were considered "shining stars"... and in a meeting with other leasing sales reps- John got pointed out as being the guy to watch. I think it really made John feel good that his hard work was paying off- and was being recognized and appreciated.

John is such a great "people person" that I always thought he would be comfortable in a sales-type job. And with this job every day is different- which is something that John really likes (and needs!) Way to go hubba hubby!
